Mouth is like a major gate to enter the body. This is the place where we insert all foods and beverage. Because of this, we need to protect it in order to prevent any unhealthy things from entering our body. One best way to keep our body healthy is by taking care of our oral health. Poor dental health will cause several serious problems with germs, bacteria, gums infection, and many more.
The good news is that you do not need to take expensive dental care to maintain the oral health. All you need to do is just taking care of your dental health regularly at home. There are several activities that are considered as good and proper home dental care, they are:
• Brushing teeth: Brushing teeth is a basic and simple habit to have a healthy mouth. But most people in the world are brushing their teeth in the wrong way. To get a proper brushing technique, you can consult with the doctor or search some dental care articles on the internet. You need to brush your teeth at least three times a day; in the morning after breakfast, in the afternoon after lunch, and at night before you go to the bed.
• Flossing: Flossing is a good habit to remove small particles that are stuck between your teeth. This activity is very important to remove the bacteria and germs in your mouth. Germs and bacteria are interested in the food residue that is stuck between your teeth. So by removing the food residue, you can prevent the growth of germs and bacteria that are very dangerous for your dental health.
• Tongue cleaning: Most people do not understand the importance of tongue cleaning. During the tooth brush activity, they are only focused on the teeth and forget to clean the tongue. Like teeth, tongue can be the place of germs and bacteria. The tongue surface can accumulate food residue that will attract bacteria and germs to stay in your mouth. So when you brush your teeth, make sure that you also brush your tongue.
• Gum massage: Gum is another important part in our mouth besides teeth and tongue. You need to pay attention to the gum by doing a gum massage. Gum massage will increase the blood stream to your mouth and this activity will make your teeth become stronger and your overall oral health increased. Garlic paste and salt are the two materials that you can use to massage the gum.
• Healthy foods: Healthy foods will affect your dental health. Foods that contain calcium, vitamin, and iron will create stronger teeth and prevent teeth corrosion. You also need to brush your teeth soon after you consume sweet foods or beverages. A fruit like apple is very good for your oral health because this fruit can cleanse your teeth when you eat it.
Great post! There are enough ways for proper dental care like you mentioned above. In case, if someone seems no change then one must consult with a dentist for the perfect dental solution.Valrico dentist, Brandon dentist
